Haskell Indian Nations University’s annual Welcome Back Pow Wow is set to return Saturday.

The tradition draws hundreds of community members from Lawrence and beyond for dance, food, art, music, culture and tradition.

Many artists and food vendors will be there with clothing, jewelry, frybread and much more for sale. There will also be a giveaway of prize items for Haskell students.

The Gourd Dance is set for 3 to 5 p.m., and Grand Entry is at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23. Manny King will serve as master of ceremonies.

The event will be held at the Haskell Pow Wow Grounds. If it rains, it will be moved to the Coffin Sports Complex. It’s free to attend and open to the public.
