Students of Lawrence High School are planning spooky science fun for those who attend their Halloween-themed fundraiser on Sunday.

Chesty’s Haunted House, a family-friendly event, is a production of the LHS science department teachers and students.

The event will include student-led science demonstrations and activities, chemistry teacher Clara Duncan said via email.

“People are encouraged to wear costumes and expect candy,” Duncan said.

The event is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29 in the Lawrence High School cafeteria, 1901 Louisiana St.

It’s free to attend, but donations are encouraged. The fundraiser will help pay for supplies the science department needs.

Those who wish to contribute online can make donations at this link.
