The city is closing the gym at Holcom Park Recreation Center for a week for refinishing and maintenance, but the rest of the facility will remain open during that time frame.
The closure is set for Monday, Dec. 18 through Friday, Dec. 22, according to a brief announcement from the city Wednesday.
The gym at the rec center, 2700 W. 27th St., will reopen for normal operating hours on Saturday, Dec. 23, according to the announcement.
Holcom Park rec center’s regular hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
