The driver was injured in a semitrailer rollover Monday afternoon at Kansas Highway 10 and Interstate 70, and northbound traffic on K-10 was being diverted.

The semitrailer rolled coming off of eastbound I-70 to head south on K-10, a reporter at the scene observed. The semitrailer had blocked all four lanes of traffic, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. Monday, according to Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical’s PulsePoint app.

Northbound K-10 traffic was being diverted to Sixth Street until just before 7:30 p.m. Monday, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver was 48-year-old Yedi Gebremichael of Olathe, according to the crash report. Gebremichael’s injuries were suspected to be minor, the report stated. He was taken to Stormont Vail Health in Topeka.

The Kansas Highway Patrol was handling the crash and DGSO was assisting with traffic control.
