Lawrence police find missing woman, 67, safe

Willa Nash has been found safe, according to an update from the Lawrence Police Department Tuesday morning.

The Lawrence Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate 67-year-old Willa Nash.

Nash was last seen near Congressional Drive and Congressional Circle around 6:50 p.m. Monday, according to a social media post from LPD.

She was wearing the clothing seen in the picture — a long-sleeved shirt with the character Stitch from the movie “Lilo and Stitch,” and flowered pants.

Nash is 5-foot-2 and weighs about 100 pounds, according to the post.

If you see her, police ask that you call dispatch at 785-832-7509.
