K-10 exit ramp in northwest Lawrence to close until June

As part of the Kansas Highway 10 expansion project, the southbound K-10 exit ramp to Sixth Street in Lawrence will be closed for a few months.

The Kansas Department of Transportation announced the closure Monday. It’s set to begin Wednesday, March 12, and will be in effect until early June, conditions permitting.

“During the closure, a marked detour will direct motorists to Bob Billings Parkway/N. 1500 Road, to northbound K-10, to the U.S. 40/6th Street exit,” according to the announcement.
