Win Gilkey Jordan, 74, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital from complications of cancer and a long-term battle with various illnesses.
Born July 20, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Don Armstrong and Louie Mae Gilkey Jordan.
Win met the love of his life, Marsha Jeter, in 2001 while living in Hays. They were married on September 22, 2001 at her brother’s home in Stilwell, Kansas.
Win was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife, brother, 10 children, 24 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. (For the full obituary visit: https://www.warrenmcelwain.com/obituaries)
A private family viewing and graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 to celebrate Win’s life. He was laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence, Kansas.
