Holiday shoppers packed the Lawrence Arts Center Friday evening and picked out quirky and distinctive art from the Bizarre Bazaar.
Born in 1988, Bizarre Bazaar returned in Lawrence for another year of “hippie love vibes,” as a founding member describes it. More than 90 local vendors sold their original fiber work, prints, stained glass and more.
The market is open for its second day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 at the arts center, 940 New Hampshire St.
Find info on about 20 more holiday markets in Douglas County in this article. There are ample other holiday-themed events coming up around town, like holiday markets, musical performances and light shows as well. See it all at lawrencekstimes.com/holiday-2025.
