Jayhawks from all over the world will host a cultural event this week, featuring performances, a fashion show, activities and more. There will also be free T-shirts, door prizes and food.
The 10th annual International Jayhawk Festival is set for 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 15 in the Burge Union. It’s free to attend and open to the whole community.
Nearly 50 student groups, organizations and academic units will participate, “offering intercultural activities, demonstrations and trivia,” according to a KU news release on Monday.
“A highlight of the festival will be the international performances featuring Chinese, Honduran, Japanese, Mexican, Peruvian and Ukrainian cultures,” the release continued. “The International Fashion Show will showcase traditional dress from nine countries around the world.”
