The City of Lawrence expects a lane of Connecticut Street to be closed for one block through Friday, Aug. 21 following a water main break.
Crews closed the northbound lane Connecticut between 11th and 12th streets Tuesday to start repairs.
“Drivers should use caution in the area, follow posted traffic control and consider alternate routes when possible,” according to a news release.
