Kaw Valley Field Day is returning for a second year to invite people of all ages to the river valley for an evening of fun and education.

The event will run from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 at Shirk Farm, 1359 North 1900 Road. It’s free to attend.

“Spend the day into the evening surrounded by some of the most fertile farmland in the country,” the event page reads.

Hosted by the Save Our Soil Kaw Valley Foundation, the field day will offer local food, hayrack rides, a pumpkin patch, educators, storytellers and more fall fun.

Split Lip Rayfield is headlining the event, which will also feature Spencer & Rains, Ryan Manuel, The Twangles and The Band That Saved The World.
