Closure planned for parts of K-10 in Lawrence

Temporary closures of part of Kansas Highway 10 in southern Lawrence are planned Tuesday, Dec. 23 for maintenance work, the Kansas Department of Transportation announced Monday.

Conditions permitting, “From 9 to 11 a.m., eastbound K-10 will be closed at Clinton Parkway, where traffic will be directed east to U.S. 59/Iowa Street, then south to K-10,” according to a KDOT news release.

Then, “From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., westbound K-10 will be closed at U.S. 59/Iowa Street, where traffic will be directed north to Clinton Parkway, then west to K-10.”

“Motorists should plan for delays and allow extra time for travel,” according to the release.
