KU fans: As promised, here are more photos capturing the joy that erupted downtown after the Jayhawks’ remarkable comeback to top the Tar Heels 72-69 and bring home their fourth NCAA tournament title.

Celebrate with the championship team, coach Bill Self, Kansas Spirit Squad and more Sunday afternoon. The parade will start at 2 p.m. at Sixth and Massachusetts streets and head south to 19th.

Massachusetts Street will be closed to vehicles beginning at 3 a.m. Sunday until roughly two hours after the parade, according to an announcement from KU. The parade route is from Sixth Street south to 19th.

A map of the parade route shows that Eighth, 14th and 17th streets will be open for traffic to cross until 12:30 p.m., and to pedestrians crossing until 1 p.m.

Starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, fans can park at Lot 90, the Burge Union and the Computer Center to take a shuttle downtown for the parade; shuttles will run up to an hour after the parade.

Two accessible viewing areas will be available at the intersection of Massachusetts Street and North Park Street:

“Accessibility from the West will be to ride a paratransit shuttle from Lot 90, Burge Union, or Price Computer Center parking lots to drop off location at 11th and Vermont,” according to KU. “The ADA viewing area is a short distance from the drop off point just south of North Park St. Accessibility from the East will be parking in the ADA stalls of the Law Enforcement center and the ADA viewing area is a short distance just to the North of North Park St.”
