According to the webpage for a new online survey, “the CJCC’s current strategic plan, dated 2019-2022, is scheduled to sunset at the end of 2022. To start the process of developing the next strategic plan to guide the work of the CJCC in 2023, the following survey is provided.

“This survey is intended to gather initial feedback about what areas of the justice system CJCC stakeholders and community members identify as most pressing and where the CJCC should focus strategic efforts,” the webpage states. “Following the completion of the survey, results will be analyzed and presented to the CJCC to further develop the 2023 strategic plan.”

The survey includes a question asking participants to rank most pressing issues within the county’s justice system from 1 to 10 on a list that includes the need for diversion/alternatives to incarceration, access to behavioral health services, victim services, addressing racial and ethnic disparities, and more.

Members of the CJCC, staff or member agencies, as well as interested members of the public are invited to participate.

The survey will be online through Nov. 30, according to the webpage. It can be found at dgcoks.org/cjccsurvey22.
