Community members from Baldwin City and beyond converged downtown Saturday for the annual Maple Leaf Festival.
Vendors sold artwork, crafts, flowers and much more. Food booths are operated by local nonprofits.
The family-friendly fun continues with booths open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22. The quilt show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Booths line the main streets of town, Eighth and High. Only certified service animals are welcome at the festival.
The festival — always held the third full weekend of October — dates back to 1958. There’s a permanent Maple Leaf History exhibit inside the Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce at 719 High St.
