The Raven’s beloved book store cat, Dashiell, has retired into a much quieter residential life where he can watch the birdfeeder all day. He has earned himself a spot on the bestseller list with “The Sound and the Purry,” the Raven Book Store writes.

”Plymouth Church let us know that they’re doing a congregation-wide read of (this week’s No. 2) book, and then directed their congregants to get the book from us. What a great example of community support for your humble bookstore,” the Raven Book Store writes.

”This bestseller spans the period of time including Independent Bookstore Day, so we wanted to take this chance to thank you for coming out to support us!” the Raven Book Store writes.

“Lawrence loves Hanif Abdurraqib! Not only did you all sell out Liberty Hall for his April 16 event, but you also helped him earn three spots on this week’s bestseller list,” the Raven Book Store writes.
