Two Bishop Seabury Academy students had their projects showcased at the Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C. recently as part of the National History Day competition.
The 26 members of Bishop Seabury Academy’s Class of 2023 have been accepted to 115 colleges and were offered more than $7.4 million in four-year renewable scholarships and institutional grants.
When Bishop Seabury seventh grader Kostas Jackson was 4 years old, his parents found an “American Idol” children’s drum set in their neighborhood trash. Since then, his life has been marked by snares, kicks, and cymbals.
Students from Free State High School, Lawrence High School and Bishop Seabury Academy all have state champions to celebrate following a successful weekend.
