A few blocks of Massachusetts Street in downtown Lawrence will close for part of the day Sunday for the Lawrence Electric Vehicle Showcase. Here are details on that, plus other traffic updates around town.
Three streets in southeastern Lawrence will be closed for about two to three weeks for an emergency sanitary sewer main repair, according to the city.

The 27th Street intersection at K-10 will be closed intermittently during overnight hours this week as part of construction to expand that section of the highway to four lanes.
Multiple roads will be shut down in the coming week for pavement improvement projects, block parties and festivals. Parts of U.S. 56 Highway will also go down to one lane, impacting commuters.
