A new Waldorf-inspired high school will open in August, starting with one class of freshmen that will be taught at the Lawrence Arts Center.
Those who attend Prairie Moon Waldorf School’s annual Winter Light Faire can meet Queen Winter in her secret snowy kingdom, hand-dip beeswax candles, make a fairy house or gnome home and more.
Whether it is decorating cookie ornaments, hand-dipping beeswax candles, meeting the magical Queen Winter or experiencing horse rides, there are numerous opportunities for hands-on fun as well as shopping local vendors at an upcoming holiday event.
