Preview: Lawrence City Commission March 9 meeting

The Lawrence City Commission will meet virtually at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday. Here are a few key items from the agenda:

  • A possible amendment to city codes that would allow sanitary sewer connections at garage condos.
  • Accepting the dedication of easements and rights-of-way at the new Lawrence Police Department headquarters, 5100 Overland Drive.
  • A 30-minute executive session (meaning it’s closed to the public) to discuss legal communications from the city’s attorneys regarding a potential claim.
