Spring was in full bloom at Mary’s Lake Thursday evening.

Want to go see for yourself? According to the National Weather Service in Topeka, Friday afternoon should stay sunny. Lawrence could see some showers on Saturday, but Sunday is expected to be sunny and clear, with a high of 73°. See directions and more info at the bottom.

Visit the Prairie Park Nature Center just off 27th Street and Haskell Avenue.

Mary’s Lake is a few blocks to the south. The Nature Center (and parking) is located at 2730 Harper St., and it’s open from 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, according to its website.
