Obituary: Betty Lou Easley (Higgins)

El Dorado, Kansas

Betty Lou Easley (Higgins) passed peacefully on June 30, 2021 in Eldorado, Ks. Betty was born April 12, 1946 in Earle, Arkansas. She was the youngest child of William and Pauline Easley. Betty married James F. Higgins on February 29, 1964 in Lawrence, Ks. She is survived by her four children, Amy L. Higgins of Rome, Ga., Gail R. Shepherd ( Brian) of El Dorado, Ks., Lonnie J. Higgins (Sonya) of Olathe, Ks, and Lorrie J. Butell of Lawrence, Ks. Her grandchildren, Adam Shepherd, Derrick and Chandler Higgins, and Austin and Aaron Butell also survive her.

She was preceded in death by James F. Higgins and son in law David G. Butell. The family has planned a private memorial and internment for a later date.
