The man killed in a shooting around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday in Lawrence was 21-year-old Christian Willis, of Wichita, according to a news release from Lawrence police Thursday afternoon.
First responders found Willis when they arrived at the scene in the 1500 block of Kentucky Street, and he died at the scene.

The shooting was still under investigation as of Thursday afternoon, and no arrests had been made.
