Maurice Rashaad Lewis, 33, of Mobile, Alabama, was eastbound in the left lane of the highway in a semitruck around 4:40 p.m. Friday near milemarker 199.8, which is a couple miles west of the McDonald Drive interchange.

He swerved to avoid a slower-moving vehicle, lost control and struck the inside barrier wall, the report states.

Lewis suffered suspected minor injuries and was taken to Stormont Vail hospital in Topeka. He was wearing a seat belt, according to the report, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
