Note from the Times: This bestseller list comes to us straight from The Raven Book Store in Lawrence. See other editions of the list here.

The last few weeks have marked a return to live in-person events for the Raven, and the bestsellers list certainly shows it. Of the 10 books on this list, only one is by an author who hasn’t done an event in Lawrence this April: Sea of Tranquility, Emily St. John Mandel’s wonderful new sci-fi epic.

Everyone else either appeared at the Raven (Chloé Cooper Jones), the Paper Plains Literary Festival (Colson Whitehead, Angeline Boulley, Sarah Smarsh, Wes Jackson), or the Free State Festival (John Waters, the first person to ever have three books on our list at once).

Thanks for coming to these events and buying so many books!
