The Haskell Indian Art Market returned Saturday for the first time since 2019.
The two-day market continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4 at Haskell Pow Wow Grounds, 2535 W. Perimeter Road in Lawrence. Live entertainment is slated for noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Attendees can browse and purchase jewelry, pottery, carvings, paintings, clothing and other handmade pieces by Native American creators, as well as traditional Native American food, such as Indian tacos.
Both admission and parking are free, but attendees are encouraged to bring cash to purchase items as food vendors will only be accepting cash. Some artists may only accept cash, but others may offer other payment options. There will be an ATM available on-site for those who need it.
The event is hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University. Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals, and masks are optional.
