Parts of 9th Street, Inverness Drive to close for pavement rehabilitation

The City of Lawrence will close parts of Ninth Street and parts of Inverness Drive for pavement rehabilitation beginning Monday, June 26, according to a city news release.

Ninth Street will be closed from Avalon Road to Highland Drive, and Inverness Drive will be closed from Clinton Parkway to West 25th Place.

“The City anticipates 9th St. to resume partial traffic flow on August 9, and both projects are set to be completed by mid-October, 2023,” according to the release.

Signs to highlight detours will be in place, according to the release.
