The meeting was set for Wednesday evening, but it has been canceled due to a death in the family of the staff facilitator, district spokesperson Julie Boyle said in an email Tuesday.

The meeting will instead be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the Facilities and Operations Office, 711 E. 23rd St.

The BAC’s charge this year will be centered on high school boundaries, especially since Lawrence High School’s enrollment has been on a decline. The consultant previously contracted to facilitate the committee’s work will be taking on a reduced role this year.
