1/20/1935 – 4/12/2025
Scottsdale, Arizona

Frank Washburn Edwards, 90, of Scottsdale, AZ joyfully went to join Jesus on April 12, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born on Jan. 20, 1935 in Kansas City, KS to Cornelia and Joseph Renz Edwards. In 1952 he joined the US Navy and spent 4 years as a Teleman 2nd Class. Upon discharge he worked as a salesman in Lawrence, KS for F.S. Edwards Tobacco, a company established by his father. He moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1973 and started the Edwards Company of Arizona, which serviced, sold, and leased commercial ice making equipment.

Frank never met a stranger and was known for his generosity and sense of humor. He was mechanically minded and enjoyed adventure, amateur radio, flying, and computers. His deepest regret was waiting so late in life before accepting Christ Jesus as his Savior. His hope was in Him alone and he looked forward to joining his brothers and sisters in Christ who had gone before him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brad Edwards of Lawrence, KS, his siblings Phyllis Edwards and Renz Edwards of Scottsdale AZ.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Gilmartin Edwards, three children, Tara Keltner of Pettigrew, AR and Pagosa Springs, CO, Kassie Nieters (Larry) of Lawrence, KS and Ginny Belofsky (Adam) of Roundrock, TX. Grand Children: Molly Keltner of Lowell, AR, Sarah Marie Edwards of West Palm Beach, FL, Kyle Edwards, Tyler Witkin and Maia Belofsky of Austin, TX. Great Grandchildren: Rowyn and Liam Witkin of Austin, TX.

A Memorial Service will be held at Messinger Indian School Mortuary in Scottsdale, AZ on Monday, April 21st at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scottsdale Bible Church, Scottsdale, AZ.
