Busker Festival kicks off in downtown Lawrence

The Busker Festival kicked off Friday evening and will continue through Sunday in downtown Lawrence.

Magicians, jugglers, musicians, acrobats and other street performers, artists, facepainters and food and drink vendors are featured in the annual event. It’s open to all ages, and it’s free to attend.

Activities continue from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.

In addition, the Art Tougeau parade is set to begin at noon Saturday. Lineup will begin at 10:30 a.m. in front of the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire St., and the parade will start at 11th and Massachusetts streets. Read more about it at this link.
