Here are closures, service changes and other tidbits to know for Memorial Day in Lawrence.
• Parking: Parking at meters and in lots and garages will be free on Monday, May 25, according to a news release from the city.
• Solid waste: There will be no changes to trash pickup schedules.
• Buses and transit: There will be no Lawrence Transit service on Monday, and the Central Station will be closed.
• Outdoor Aquatic Center: The pool, 727 Kentucky St., was set to open for the season Monday. However, the city announced Friday that the opening would be delayed.
Instead, the Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive, will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday.

• Eagle Bend Golf Course will be open from 8 a.m. to dusk, weather permitting.

• Rec centers: All city recreational centers — East Lawrence, Holcom Park, the Community Building and Sports Pavilion Lawrence — will be closed Monday. Prairie Park Nature Center will also be closed.
• The Lawrence Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday, May 24 and 25, for the holiday. However, the online library is open 24/7.
• The Lawrence school board’s regular fourth-Monday meeting will be moved to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 26 at district offices, 110 McDonald Drive.
• City of Lawrence and Douglas County offices will be closed Monday for the holiday.
• Douglas County District Court will be closed Monday.
• The Senior Resource Center for Douglas County will be closed Monday.
• Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center will be closed Monday.
