One week remains for Kansans to register to vote or update their voter registration ahead of the Tuesday, Nov. 3 general election.
The ballot will include Douglas County Commission seats, state- and federal-level races including governor and attorney general, congressional seats representing Kansas and much more.
Tuesday, Oct. 13 is the deadline to register to vote or update voter registration in order to cast a ballot. Douglas County voters can quickly register, double-check or update their registration online until 11:59 p.m. that day at KSVotes.org.
You can check your voter info at myvoteinfo.voteks.org to make sure you know which districts you’re and see which races will be on your ballot.
Douglas County voters can also request an advance ballot to vote by mail online at KSVotes.org anytime through Tuesday, Oct. 27.
People can also update their registration by printing and filling out forms and emailing, faxing or mailing them to the Douglas County clerk’s office; find more information about that at this link.
In-person advance voting will run from Wednesday, Oct. 14 through noon Monday, Nov. 2.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
