A local farm will kick off the holiday shopping season in Douglas County with its Holiday Open Barn, featuring more than 30 local artists.
The Historic Taylor Barn event will feature local artists and their handmade goods, including jewelry, pottery, woodworking, candles, baked goods, soaps, paintings and more.
Shopping will open at noon Friday, Nov. 6 and run until 5 p.m. that day. The event will continue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 at the barn, 1827 East 1150 Road.
The event will also feature holiday music and a chance to enjoy the outdoor farm.
