Community members come together for Haskell’s annual Welcome Back Powwow

Community members gathered at the powwow grounds at Haskell Indian Nations University Friday evening for the annual Welcome Back Powwow.

A weekend of cultural tradition continues at Haskell with the second annual bison harvest Saturday and cookout on Sunday. Read more about those at this link. (Update, 11:54 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27: The USDA Extension Program at Haskell has announced that the public portion of the bison harvest event will start around 2 p.m. Saturday.
