Many Lawrence community members gathered Sunday afternoon at 11th and Massachusetts streets to show their support for Ukraine as Russia continues its invasion.

Several dozen people showed up. Many carried flags and signs showing support and calling for peace in Ukraine, where hundreds of soldiers and civilians have been killed and injured. Others called to stop the war, and said that war is not the answer.
