The Lawrence Restaurant Association and United Way of Douglas County are seeking support for members of the Lawrence hospitality industry who are still experiencing reduced or suspended employment.
Funds raised amid the COVID-19 pandemic have provided more than $240,000 in aid to workers so far, according to the association’s website.
Contributions are passed through as direct aid to local hospitality workers, and tax-deductible donations can go through the United Way, according to information on a flyer for the fundraiser. Text “HospitalityUnited” to 44321 to contribute.
