This week, Robin Wall Kimmerer’s “Braiding Sweetgrass” continues its impressive run by climbing to the No. 1 spot. Not only is this a gorgeous book, but it’s an older title (in the book industry we call this “backlist”) by an enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, published by a small midwestern press. We’re so thrilled to see its success at the Raven and everywhere else. We hear Kimmerer will be visiting Lawrence later in 2021, and we can’t wait.
