Lawrence’s Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade canceled because of horse virus outbreak

The Lawrence Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade has been canceled this year because of an outbreak of equine herpesvirus affecting horses in multiple states, according to parade organizers.
