Lawrence community members and representatives from organizations gathered Saturday morning at South Park for a rally with a strong message: Pride never ends.
The Raven Book Store will host a queer adult book fair and pride mixer Thursday that the store says will be reminiscent of a Scholastic book fair.
A Pride Month edition of Deja’s Reading Rainbow this weekend at the library will feature stories “embracing our local LGBTQ+ community and celebrating families of all kinds,” according to the host.
Two days of Lawrence PRIDE celebrations culminated in a gathering at South Park, a parade down Massachusetts Street and a party at Abe & Jake’s.
The upcoming Art + Culture + Crossings public art project will bring sights, sounds, stories, sass and supplies to downtown Lawrence later this month.
