One driver injured, one arrested in 3-vehicle crash southeast of Clinton Lake

One person suffered injuries that were serious but not life-threatening in a crash Wednesday afternoon in the 1100 block of East 1000 Road, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

Medics checked and cleared the other two drivers, but one of them was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, the sheriff’s office said in a tweet at 5:51 p.m. Wednesday.

The injured driver was taken to an area hospital. Deputies were still investigating the crash and no other information was available, according to the tweet.
