I think a big question for publishing in the coming Fall Big Book season is how interested people will be in reading about the former president. A wave of postmortems is on the way, and one of the first arrives at No. 5 on this week’s list.

I’m still not sure how the other books will do; maybe people are sick of hearing about it? Maybe now that it’s over, people want to investigate exactly what happened?

Here’s one thing I am sure of: people are interested in books by local authors, which compose half of this week’s list.
