Voting is now open for the public to decide which 12 doughnuts designed by Deerfield Elementary third graders will be sold for a limited time at Infusions Bakery in Lawrence.

To vote, check out the post on Infusions Bakery’s Facebook page and “like” or comment “VOTE” on the pictures of up to 12 of your favorites.

Voting is open until 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24. The top 12 designs will be available as a variety pack via pre-order or in-store at the bakery from Feb. 28 to March 1, according to the Facebook post.

The third graders in Laura Amlung’s class created their own unique designs for the doughnuts and wrote opinion pieces to pitch the doughnuts to local bakeries. The opinion pieces are also included in the post.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Deerfield Elementary. Read more about the project at this link.
