There were no injuries reported in connection with a fire Sunday at Lawrence’s recycling center, 1006 E. 11th St.
Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical firefighters responded to the fire around 5:45 p.m., according to interim Fire Chief Tom Fagan.
The fire was under control and under investigation Sunday night, Fagan said via email around 9 p.m.
A fire at the center that began just before 2 a.m. July 16, 2021 burned overnight and well into the morning.
