Jayhawk fans of all ages gathered on Mass Street Friday night for the inaugural Rock Chalk Block Party.

The celebration was planned ahead of KU’s homecoming game against Iowa State. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. The Marching Jayhawks will perform in a pregame show starting at 2:10 p.m., and a flyover is planned for 2:20 p.m.

The game is sold out — marking the second consecutive sellout for the Kansas football team.

“The 4-0 Jayhawks enter the Homecoming matchup against the 3-1 Cyclones after their best start to the season since 2009,” according to KU Athletics. “After selling out last week against Duke, the two consecutive sellouts are the first since 2009, when Kansas played in front of sellout crowds in consecutive home games against Nebraska (Nov. 14, 2009) and No. 25 Oklahoma (Oct. 24, 2009).”

For fans watching from home, the game will air on ESPN 2. Listen and watch live stats at this link.
