Those heading to the Douglas County Fairgrounds to vote on Tuesday should plan their routes accordingly. East 23rd Street is still down to one lane in each direction in the areas of Haskell Avenue and Harper Street.

“The lane closure is expected to last for the rest of the week,” according to a brief news release Monday. “This closure ensures the safety of community members and working crews as construction is completed.”

That section of East 19th Street will remain open to westbound traffic.

The red pin on the map below is in approximately the east-to-west center of the eastbound lane closure.
