Fans packed Allen Fieldhouse Friday night for Late Night in the Phog, the massive pep rally that celebrates the beginning of each season of Jayhawk basketball.

It’s a great time to be a Jayhawk fan and a student at the University of Kansas, men’s basketball coach Bill Self told the hyped crowd.

Enrollment is at an all-time high. Football is at an all-time high. And basketball has the potential to blow this roof off this place this year,” Self said.

The women’s and men’s teams scrimmaged, and rapper, singer and songwriter Flo Rida performed. If you missed the action, you can catch videos of the scrimmages on the KU Athletics Facebook page.
