Jets will fly over the University of Kansas campus Friday and again Saturday morning ahead of kickoff for the KU football homecoming game.

A group of between two and four F-16s will do a practice run over campus Friday, Oct. 27, likely between 12:45 and 1:15 p.m., according to a brief news release from KU on Thursday.

The jets will return to fly over the football stadium before the 11 a.m. kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Flyovers are at no cost to KU, according to a university spokesperson.

Tickets to the game have sold out, KU Athletics announced Thursday morning. Fans can watch the game on Fox, listen at kuathletics.leanplayer.com and keep an eye on live stats during the game at this link.

In addition, “FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff will make its first appearance in Lawrence as the pregame show hosted by Rob Stone previews the day’s top games, while providing detailed analysis of the Big Noon Saturday matchup from analysts Urban Meyer, Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart and Mark Ingram II,” according to a KU Athletics news release.
