Firefighters were working at the scene of a house fire near 20th Street and Naismith Drive Wednesday evening.

First responders were dispatched to the fire at 6:37 p.m. Wednesday, according to LDCFM’s PulsePoint app. It’s in the 1900 block of Naismith Drive, which is just south of the southern edge of KU’s campus.

“No injuries have been reported to occupants or firefighters,” LDCFM Chief Rich Llewellyn said via email. “LDCFM investigators will remain on scene for some time.”

The cause of the fire and the extent of damages were not immediately clear Wednesday evening. Some LDCFM units were still on the scene as of around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.
