Bishop Seabury Academy announces the Class of 2025 (Announcement)

Congratulations to the 2025 graduates of Bishop Seabury Academy. 

For the last 28 years, this Lawrence independent school has offered a college preparatory education for grades 6-12 in a diverse and enthusiastic learning community, promoting academic excellence and moral development while empowering students to explore their potential and to become engaged citizens of the world.

Seabury’s graduates can be found all across the United States and around the world. The school helps shape confident and resilient students so they can make their own unique mark on this world. Tuition assistance is available. 

As a Seabury parent said, “We asked ourselves the question: How can we best prepare our kids to go where they want to go? Seabury was the answer in everything they did.” 

The 17 members of the Class of 2025 have received 120 acceptances to 80 different colleges and were offered more than $10 million in four-year renewable scholarships and institutional grants. Acceptances include Boston University, Cornell University, Emory University, Georgia Tech, Kenyon College, Northeastern University, Rice University, Swarthmore College, Vanderbilt University, United States Naval Academy, UC Berkeley, University of Kansas Honors Program, University of Notre Dame, Washington and Lee University, Washington University in St. Louis and Wellesley College, among many others. 

Don Schawang, head of school, says of the Class of 2025, “This is an eclectic and impressive group of graduates who bring to the school a variety of skills and achievements in academics, sports, the arts, and community service. Congratulations to all of them!”
