Art on wheels returned to downtown Lawrence Saturday for the annual Art Tougeau parade.

The first Art Tougeau parade was held in 1997 “as a way to celebrate creativity and ingenuity, with some good, clean fun on wheels,” according to its website.

It features folks riding bikes, scooters, cars and other vehicles, all transformed into pieces of art.

The parade is part of an artsy weekend in Lawrence. It runs at the same time as the Busker Festival — see details on that at this link.
